# POP Collective

## Overview

POP Collective brings the +$400B collectibles market to the Ordinals space.  

We are introducing a hybrid model of RWA (Real World Asset) collectibles.  Imagine fractional ownership of a letter signed by Winston Churchill, a Picasso, or Mickey Mantle's rookie card, enhanced with original art from top Ordinals artists.  The resulting pieces can be traded on marketplaces and collected and displayed in an online museum shareable with others.  Meanwhile, the original assets remain secure, insured, and maintained, yet still accessible when desired.

People want to collect.  No Ordinals project has scratched that itch.  Limited (50-100) piece collections, thematically tied together.  

We also have the opportunity for IP purchases, licensing deals, establishing NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) contracts, and providing additional one-of-a-kind modern collections.

## **Why POP Collective?** <a href="#why-rocket.chat" id="why-rocket.chat"></a>

* **Art:** The art comes first.  Everything else is just added value.  Pop Collective sets will feature the best Ordinal artists complementing beautiful pieces of pop culture history in limited collections.
* **Ownership/RWA**: The POP Ordinal represents either partial or full ownership of the corresponding RWA held in a safe, secure, insured, and climate controlled setting.&#x20;
* **Underlying Value**: When appropriate, the POP Ordinal may be exchanged if desired for the RWA, providing a core intrinsic worth to the POP Ordinal collection.  This Operates in tandem with the prestige of the Ordinals space, bringing additional value to the asset.  Think of this as "floor" insurance.
* **Fractionalization**: High-end collectibles may be fractionalized to provide accessibility to a wide audience. &#x20;
* **Liquidity and Trading**: POP Ordinals provide an increased level of liquidity to the traditional collectibles markets.
* **Space and Display:** The common "lack of display space" issues are removed with POP Ordinals, and an upcoming high quality online (and shareable) collection viewer adds a level of fun and engagement.  In addition, country import duty/taxes and other fees are no longer relevant.&#x20;
* **Authenticity:** All POP Ordinals are authenticated (and certified with documentation) by the premiere evaluators in that field.  Because of their support of the project, PSA/DNA Authentication Services will be used whenever possible.&#x20;
* **First is First:** POP Collective is the first ongoing RWA Collectibles hub in the Ordinals space. &#x20;
